Information/Updates
Coronavirus Update: 03.30.2020
The Harlem Educational Activities Fund in-person activities are suspended due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. All of our classes are up and running virtually. Please contact our program staff if you have any questions around HEAF classes. We continue to evaluate the best course of action in line with recommendations from the City, State and national agencies.
In addition to the regularly-scheduled classes that are now meeting via video conference, we have also quickly launched virtual tutoring thanks to our volunteers’ generosity with their time and talent. If you would like to volunteer to virtually tutor a middle school or high school student, please email Kelli Goodman.
In line with social distancing practices, travel advisories and other directives from local and national officials and public health authorities, HEAF has cancelled spring break college campus trips, our Spring benefit, our live College Decision Day celebration and our Learning and Social Impact summer trip to Ecuador.
We continue to engage with our students and their families online. Please call our main number 212-663-9732 to reach a member of our staff if you have any questions.
We will update this message when we have new information to share.
