Gala Honoree Verdun S. Perry, Global Head of Blackstone Strategic Partners at Blackstone, spoke with Neil deGrasse Tyson Ph.D., Astrophysicist and HEAF Board Member, and Robert F. Smith, Chairman & CEO of Vista Equity Partners, about the importance of creating opportunity and nurturing ambition in our young people.
Gala Honoree John K. Collins, Board Member of HEAF and Managing Director, Global Head of Healthcare Investment Banking at Morgan Stanley, was recognized for almost two decades of commitment to HEAF’s innovative programming to open doors for some of the city’s most deserving students.
Gala Honoree Adena T. Friedman, President & CEO of Nasdaq, Inc., hosted a fireside chat to discuss the need for bold leadership and transformative commitment to create a more diverse workforce by fostering greater opportunity at all levels in the global corporate sector.
