Summer Quest 2021
HEAF’s Summer Quest is back with a hybrid model for the 2021 summer! Summer Quest will take place July 6 – August 6, Monday through Thursday, from 9 AM to 3 PM. HEAF students will enjoy an amazing array of academic and elective courses virtually, along with weekly active learning trips and walking tours around NYC!

High Expectations Middle School Program
During Summer Quest, middle school students in grades 6 – 8 will receive instruction in Humanities each morning, followed by SHSAT prep, ELA, electives, and youth development courses in the afternoons. We have an exciting line-up of electives including:
- Shark Tank
- Vet Science
College Quest Transition to High School Program
Rising 9th graders will participate in our Transition to High School program – a series of workshops designed to equip students with the academic skills necessary for success in high school.
Industry Immersion Series High School Program
Our Industry Immersion Program will focus on career exploration and virtual internships, in addition to electives and youth development courses. Students will engage in a virtual industry-specific learning experience where they will gain knowledge and skills pertaining to a specific career field.
Students will also attend virtual Career Development workshops designed to help students develop professional skills and prepare for college and career success. High school seniors will also prepare for the SAT and college applications by strengthening their personal statements, building a list of “best-fit” colleges, and exploring a diverse set of colleges.
Onward College Program
HEAF’S Onward Dream Big Sumit si a 4-week long series of virtual workshops designed to prepare college students for success throughout college and entry into the professional world. See below all of our workshops for summer 2021!
