Help open doors of opportunity for our HEAF students this Fall!

We have various engagement experiences this Fall for volunteers to give their time and talents in support of HEAF.

Personal and Professional Development Workshops

1 Day Commitment

These workshops are great opportunities for individuals to volunteer with HEAF and are perfect for those who are interested in connecting with students in a small group setting and providing unique insights into their personal educational and career path and professional field. Volunteers answer questions, provide advice, and help students understand the potential options available to them. For these workshops, we can also accommodate a small team of employees for a few select workshops.

* Please note: These workshops will take place virtually via Zoom. Workshop outlines and materials will be provided one week prior to the workshop.

More details about each of the workshops can be found on our website HERE

Virtual Tutor

Weekly Commitment

Virtual Tutors support our students virtually as they tackle homework assignments and prepare for tests while building supportive relationships and positively impacting their academic achievement. Tutors work with students one-on-one or in small groups over Google meet or Zoom to support them with homework assignments, test preparation, and the development of strong study habits.

*Please note: this is a 1 hour/week virtual volunteer commitment.

More details about our virtual tutoring program including session schedules and subject areas can be found on our website HERE
