11-Year Continuum Program
HEAF offers its students: experiential classroom learning, engaging real-world experiences, personalized youth development and counseling support, Specialized High School Acceptance Test (SHSAT) preparation, SAT preparation, college tours, international service-learning opportunities, college search and application support, financial aid application support, and comprehensive career-development opportunities through an 11-year continuum.
Summer Quest
4-week summer experience for rising 6th – 8th graders. Students study Math/ELA as well as a broad range of experiential and enriching electives.
High Expectations
In years 1-3 at HEAF, middle school students are prepared for admission to NYC’s top public high schools and take social-emotional learning classes for character development
College Quest
In years 4 -7 at HEAF, high-school students are prepared for college. They are mentored by success coaches, attend extended overnight college tours and receive guidance through every step of the college application process.
Onward
At HEAF, our College Support Program provides students with academic and career resources as well as community support for their transition to and through college.

HEAF Application:
The HEAF Application is due by February 9, 2021. This part of the application is used to determine if students and families meet the academic and financial eligibility criteria.
This application can be completed online in 25 minutes or less, either using a smartphone or computer. This application is available in either English or Spanish.
HEAF Interview:
The final stage of the Admissions selection process for HEAF programming includes an interview. The interview is an opportunity for the HEAF community to learn more about the student applicant and their family. The interview will consist of the interviewer asking questions in order to gain a better sense of a student’s academic interests, collegiate pursuits, and other relevant information.
